This option will allow you to sell your products through your webStore and Lelong marketplace! Please follow the step by step instructions. This feature is only available for sohoStore or bizStore users, who are also Lelong WebStore Plus users.

Step 1: Obtaining the API from your Lelong account

  1. First, we need to get the API from your Lelong seller account. Follow this tutorial here.
  2. Login to your webShaper control panel. Go to Marketing  > Marketplace.  Hover over the Lelong tab and choose  Manage Settings. Please fill the all the information.
  3. The Lelong ID, and the Lelong API Key is the information you retrieved in the earlier steps .
  4. Difference in Price (Universal Price Changer) indicates the price you can add to your items; the number added can be a positive or negative integer. For example, if your product is selling at RM10, and you place a 5 in this field, your item will be sold at RM15 in Lelong. Consequently, if you place a -5 in this field, your item will be sold at RM5 in Lelong. This configuration applies to ALL the products you sync to Lelong.
  5. Price Mode can either be set to Percentage (%) or Flat Price.
  6. Please tick on Enable Lelong and click on Save. 

 

Step 2: Mapping your webShaper Categories to Lelong Categories

The Lelong category mapping helps map webShaper’s categories to default Lelong categories.

  1. Go to Marketing > Marketplace.
  2. Under the Lelong tab on the left hand side, select Category Mapping.
  3. Click on the Grey colored Lelong icon, a window will appear prompting you to choose the Lelong categories.
  4. Select the Lelong Category that most related to your webShaper store category. (Choose the categories until you reach the end of the category selections.)
  5. After mapping, click on save. If successful, a Category Saved message will appear and the Colored Lelong icon will show.

Note: You can change the category for a specific product at sync product! This allows the flexibility for you to assign any particular product to its most suited category to increase sales or save on commission.

 

Step 3: Mapping your webShaper Categories to Custom Lelong Categories (Optional)

Lelong allows you to create your own categories on your Lelong store page, and you can also map the webShaper categories to the custom Lelong categories too.

Before you can start mapping your webShaper categories to custom lelong categories, go to Lelong.com.my and sign in.

Go to My Store and click Item Category. In here, you have to create your own categories for items within your store. The category will appear in webShaper Custom Lelong Category Mapping section. Any changes to the categories are not reflected immediately unless you click on ‘Publish My Categories Online‘ button. This will publish your existing store item category setup.

 

After done creating categories inside Lelong, you can now setup your store category mapping.

  1. Go to Marketing > Marketplace.
  2. Under the Lelong Tab on the left hand side, select Store Category Mapping.
  3. Click on the Grey colored Lelong icon, a window will appear prompting you to choose the Lelong categories.
  4. Select the Lelong Custom Category that most related to your webShaper store category.
  5. When you’re done, please click on Save. If successful, a Category Saved message will appear.
  6. After mapping, click on Save. If successful, a Category Saved message will appear and the Coloured Lelong icon will show.
  7. Click on Import Custom Store Categories to import your custom categories from your Lelong store. Note that your category update changes may took 24 hours before you can import them in webShaper.

Step 4: Shipping Configurations

Every products listed in Lelong requires you to fill up the shipping details. In webShaper, you can create a master template for the shipping details and it will become the default values for every products that you select to sync to Lelong.

What if you want to change the shipping details for a specific products? You can easily do that later at Sync Product later, where you can update new shipping details just for that product.

  1. Go to Marketing > Marketplace.
  2. Under the Lelong tab on the left hand side, select Shipping Configurations.
  3. Please fill in all the data that is required:
    1. Delivery Method: Select a delivery method.
    2. Delivery Cost: Set a different delivery cost for different shipping areas.
    3. Shipping To: The options here are based on Lelong shipping options. So, just select an option that you would normally select in your Lelong store.
    4. Shipping Within: The options here are based on Lelong shipping within options. So, just select an option that you would normally select in your Lelong store.
    5. Product Location: Specific where your products are currently located (and will be shipped from)
    6. Don’t forget to click Save.

Step 5: Syncing Your Product Items

This step will allow you to sync your items with webShaper. We empowered you to choose which products you want to Sync over!

  1. Go to Marketing > Marketplace.
  2. Under the Lelong tab select Sync Product Items.
  3. Click on the Add button, this will prompt a window with the following 3 options:
    1. Custom: Allows you to search for the product using the Item Name or SKU.
    2. All Products: Pushes all products in webShaper stores to Lelong store.
    3. Products in Mapped Categories: Automatically adds the items in the categories that you have mapped (Recommended)
  4. If you Remove a product from this section, please note that the item will not be deleted from Lelong, it will only be un-synced from the product item; Re-adding the same item again might cause the item to be duplicated.sync-products-marketplaces
  5. The screen consists of 6 columns:
    1. Product Item Name:  The name of your product.
    2. SKU: Your Unique Product ID (SKU known as Stock Keeping Unit)
    3. Last Synced: Shows the date and time of the last successful synced.
    4. Mapped to: Shows where this product is mapped to (the Lelong category)
    5. Status: 100% means successful sync. If any errors, click on the status icon for error messages.
    6. Options: This is where you can
      1. Customize Name / Description: You can put different name and description for Lelong.
      2. Options: You can set different product option (eg shipping details)
      3. Price (bizStore only): You can set different pricing for Lelong
      4. Select Images: You can set different Product Images to Sync.
      5. Product Spec: Not applicable for Lelong

Check Lelong Orders in webShaper Control Panel

Once an order is received from Lelong, the order will be stated as Processed, and stocks will be deducted from webShaper and gets updated in Lelong too. Once the order is being processed, you can proceed to make shipping changes from the webShaper control panel.

  1. Go to Orders > View Orders.
  2. Select the order that you would like to update and click on View.
  3. Orders with the status Processed (indicate that a payment has been made), will have an additional marketplace tab when viewed.

  4. Once View is clicked, hover over to the Marketplaces tab and select Lelong: Update Order’s shipping.
  5. The following window will appear, please make sure to fill all the details and click on Update. Please note that these changes (shipped and processed) along with the Tracking Number, will be updated to Lelong.

Check webShaper’s Lelong Sync Log

The logs hold a list of status of your sync products and is mainly used for our troubleshooting purposes.

  1. Go to Marketing > Marketplace.
  2. Under the Lelong tab select Lelong’s Logs.
  3. Select the log you wish to view, and a prompt window will appear providing you will with all the information.

 

Understanding possible errors

Error MessageWhat does it mean
Lelong: Feed error, image cannot be empty. Please supply URL to image.The main product image shouldn't be empty. There must be at least one image per product
1 Day can only feed in 10 times for 1 productThe accumulation of all the operations you do (Create product, update product info or stock and delete product) combined can't exceed 10 times a day.
Feed error, Type of supply for GST is invalid. Please refer to documentationThe tax mode of lelong and webshaper is not match. Please make sure both are either inclusive or exclusive.
Must be an active store merchantThis means that the Lelong ID or key is invalid. Please double check your credentials under Lelong -> Manage Settings.

Important Tips

  1. After you sync your products, keep an eye on any error message (Red Flag) in the status column. The message tells a certain error that stops the product from syncing properly. Clicking on the message will show you how to fix the error.

  2. A red flag means something has gone wrong during the Sync. Click on it to see the error message from Lelong. Resolve it or contact our friendly customer service at support@webshaper.com.  For any issues that relates to Lelong, you can contact them here.
  3. It takes an interval of 5 minutes for a product to be pushed (first time added only).
  4. Subsequent changes to product information, you will have to select the product, click on re-sync to be manually pushed over.resync-products
